The 2020 Skoda Octavia Combi is more popular in Europe compared to the liftback model. Moreover, the previous generation became the best-selling station wagon model in Europe. The new Octavia wants to continue this success with its updated design, technologies and driving dynamics.
Technical Specs
The engine options under the hood of the 2020 Skoda Octavia are quite rich. There are gasoline, light hybrid, rechargeable hybrid, compressed natural gas powered and diesel units with power outputs ranging from 110 to 204 horsepower.
At the top of the series is the rechargeable hybrid version called Octavia iV. Combining 1.4 TSI, electric motor and 13 kWh battery, the version has 204 horsepower and 60 kilometers of pure electric driving range.
Interior design
The dimensions of the 2020 Skoda Octavia have grown. In the Combi version, there is 22 mm elongation and 15 mm expansion compared to the previous model. This means a larger interior and higher luggage capacity.
The liftback version of the vehicle has 600 liters and the Combi version has 640 liters of luggage capacity. There is an increase of 10 and 30 liters compared to the previous model.
Features
There is also a more modern and technological approach in the cabin of the 2020 Skoda Octavia. Behind the two-spoke steering wheel is the new generation Virtual Cockpit, 10.25 inches in size. The touch infotainment display in the center of the console varies from 8 to 10 inches.
Head Up Display, LED ambiance lighting, USB ports, CANTON sound system, ergonomic seats with massage and cooling, and three-zone air conditioning system are among the features of the 2020 Skoda Octavia.
2020 Skoda Octavia Combi will be available in Europe in the next two months. The price of the vehicle is not yet clear.
