2021 Kia Sorento: Technical specs of car

Kia introduced the new Sorento earlier in the last week. South Korean car manufacturer also shared the car's specifications.  

Technical specs of 2021 Kia Sorento

The renewed Sorento is 4810 mm long and 10 mm longer than the previous model. It also has a wheelbase 35mm longer (2815mm) than the previous model. The car is 1700mm high and 1900mm wide, including roof rails. The increase in size helps the new Sorento to offer a more comfortable interior with a six-seat layout.

The seats in the third row can be adjusted depending on whether you need more space or overhead volume for the rearmost passengers. In other words, you can use the car in 3 rows according to your preference or in 2 rows with extra luggage volume.

Under the hood of the 2021 Kia Sorento is a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine that produces 177 horsepower and 265 Nm (195 pound-feet) of torque, as well as an electric motor that produces 59 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque.

In other words, the car reaches 227 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque in total. This power coming from the engine is transferred to the wheels with a hybrid powertrain.
