NASCAR drivers racing on iRacing after canceled events
After events such as Formula One, NASCAR, and IndyCar are canceled, top racers competing with each other at iRacing. The race was watched by more than 70,000 people on Twich.

Many popular sports events were canceled due to the Corona virus. For speed lovers, Formula One, NASCAR, and IndyCar are among the major canceled events. Many popular car racers loved left the tracks and started to become gamers in simulation races.,
Sim racing is a computer software that performs motor races very close to reality in a computer environment. It needs quite an expensive hardware. Also, it brings the problems that may be encountered in races to the players. For example, changing tires, running out of fuel.
NASCAR racer competed with other players
TJ Majors, a NASCAR spotter, suggested replacing the real race with a virtual version after the Atlanta race was canceled. Some of his friends proposed to perform their own races instead of the Atlanta race. They then contacted iRacing, a highly preferred platform for such games.
Majors later contacted NASCAR employees and racers. Dale Earnhardt JR spoke to rising stars William Byron and Chad Knaus.
They also promoted on social media for the iracing tournament called "The Replacements 100". Many NASCAR racers in iRacing also wanted to participate in this project. In the game, real racers competed with the players. The race was watched by more than 70,000 people on Twich.
