German car company Porshe, which is known for its more expensive and luxury sports cars, entered the electric vehicles sector with Taycan Turbo and Taycan S models in the previous months.  Even Bill Gates' choice of a Taycan model instead of Tesla made a lot of noise on social media, specially after Elon Musk’s tweets.

Now Porsche decided to build Europe's largest charging station for electric cars in Germany. The station in the city of Leipzig will serve not only Porsche models. It will serve to all electric vehicles. There are 6350 kW internal fast charging points, 12 350 kW chargers and 4 22 kW AC stands inside the parking lot. It is also stated that all the energy of the parking lot, which provides 7 MW of power is renewable.

The new station will serve at the pilot stage and free of charge until the end of March. When officially opened, prices will vary according to vehicle models.
